- A proof of deposit is generated and verified by operators and clients.
- eBTC is issued on Bitcoin as a representation of the locked BTC, transferable to and usable within Umi’s smart contract environments.
- Users can burn eBTC later and generate a proof to redeem BTC from the original vault on Bitcoin.
The system operates under a 1-of-N security model, where any honest verifier can enforce correctness, and all proofs are validated client-side with no need for external trust assumptions.
